JAMES ANDERSON PROFILE IS HERE!! CLICK OUR TIPSTER AND LEARN ABOUT JAMES ANDERSON!

                      August 2010

August 24th

Due to poor race cards and poor weather the last few days there have been no selections. Lets hope that the rest of the week can produce better weather and racecards.

August 21st

Alas the end of another week is upon us. There have been a couple of disappointing days and some positive. As for today we leave it behind 1.55 points up. Monday however hopefully will bring a positive week, fresh start. Lets see what next week brings then.

August 17th

Well Tuesday has come and gone and unfortunately we leave Tuesday 0.75 points down. However Wednesday will be shortly upon us and no doubt James Anderson has some selections in store for us. Lets see what Wednesday brings.

August 16th

Well Monday is the start of a brand new week. With that we have had a very productive day, with a losing first race which was unfortunate, James Anderson managed to secure two winners in the last two races. This gave the day a respectable 1.81 profit over the day. Which I'm sure our trialists and clients can agree that this is deserved after the unpredictable weather hampered James Anderson's judgements for the races. Now that we have had a positive start to the week, we shall see what the rest of it brings.

August 14th

As our clients know and the results show we have had a very disappointing last couple of days. The weather being so unpredictable has played a huge part in these unfortunate events. However this is a long term commitment and that any tipster can hit a losing run but also come back from this. In this sport you have to take the good with the bad. Monday however is the start of a new week so we shall see what happens.

August 9th

Nice to see James Anderson settling into his role within Ultimate Tipster. With four selections today and two coming first with the other two coming in seconds. This is the kind of form that we expect from our tipster. So now looking at the points we have gained 2.81 today which is good because we are making sure our clients are staying in profit which is what every client wants.  So now we have seen this form from James then we expect more. Lets look forward to the future with our tipster James Anderson.

August 7th

Disappointing day but every cloud has a silver lining. Poppets Lovein rescued a point by coming 2nd in the each way bet. However the additional information that was supplied to our trialists and clients won. We shall see what Monday holds and see if the racing is good. We are still up on the month which is what counts and the clients are still in profit.

August 6th

So all you now know this is James Anderson's first day with this company providing our selections. A bit of bad luck with the 2nd and 3rd's but everyone has their up and down days. However on a positive note we had a 1st place today Loyal Royal which hopefully helped the clients to ease their anxiety about having a new tipster an starting afresh. This is not bad for the first day as all the clients would agree. We look forward to the future pressing on with many more winners to come.

August 6th

It has come to the owner of Ultimate Tipsters attention he has received information about our tipster Mr T. The information we have received can not be disclosed due to the nature of this information, therefore we have had no alternative but to relieve Mr T. of his duties which is very unfornuate but as a result of this the owner of Ultimate Tipster Mr C A McConnell has managed to secure another high ranked tipster Mr James Anderson who has over 35 years of experience in this industry. He has many contacts with top jockeys, top stables and top trainers. This will be a big advantage for Ultimate Tipster as we are going to move on without Mr T. These qualities benefit the company and the clients as the tipster is able to give selections throughout the year as Mr T. only operates through the flat season and all weather. We were going to bring him on board to join Mr T. at a later stage but we have had to bring this event forward as the information we received is very delicate and could affect the company. Due to the circumstances James Anderson has come on board with Ultimate Tipster which we believe is a great asset to the company, this is one month early but we feel it will be a big advantage to Ultimate Tipster. If you have issues do not hesitate to get in contact with us immediately as we are very concerned about clients and want to make sure that the clients are happy to carry on with our service.

August 2nd

Mr. T. truly showed off his talent today with another amazing win at Windsor picking up a respectable 12 points. Even if today's selections weren't all up to standard the day still ended on a positive which is what we want for our clients. But as it said in this profession you have to speculate to accumulate and the clients are certainly accumulating! I mean after 2 days how many tipsters can boast they are 68 points ahead after the second day of the month?

August 1st

A stupendous start to the month with an amazing points gained today for our clients.  Arabian star got us off to a good start to give us an 11 point gain on the race with our other tip in the race coming in 3rd.  And then it was the turn of Kyllachy Star who surprised everyone (except Mr.T) coming in at 20/1.  We couldn't make it three races from three with Norse Dame being a non-runner but with 61 points gained on the day, I'm certain our subscribers will not be complaining.

July 2010

July 31st

A couple of Recommendations ran as if something was amiss today. However we still managed a winning day to finish the month on a high note. This is second consecutive month were huge profits have been returned, if you look at our link ‘Our Tipster’ you will see this is nothing new.

July 30th

Not a good start to proceedings, 'Duncan' doesn't appear to want to pass wind these days, a trip to the vets and some head gear look odds-on favorite from this point onward.  A tough day on the account resulting in a small loss but still well on top on the week, a full weekend programme tomorrow with six meetings across the country so plenty to get stuck into.

July 29th

It’s well named ‘Glorious Goodwood’ because we’ve been making hay this week 92 Points profit so far at the festival it’s proving a phenomenal week.  Sadly Ridley Didley blew the start which cost us an 18/1 double which would have put the icing on the cake on the day. We move on to Friday full of confidence having secured another huge winning month, our quarterly figures now read 125.6 points profit which equates to £4,186 per month profit before subscriptions.

July 28th

With 56.5 Points profit so far at this year’s Goodwood Meeting Mr.T is putting the bookmakers to the sword.  Since securing his services just under 3 months ago he has averaged clients £2,915 per month after the Monthly outlay of £125 is deducted, which is phenomenal as he restructured the staking plan.   You don’t see many Tipping services showing this sort of ROI or totally transparent results listed on their web sites!  Anyone thinking of taking the plunge please take a glance at ‘Our Tipster’ link to see the Tipsters Track Record or check out the’ subscription’ link.

On the racing front the ‘Ice man’ Richard Hughes excels again, yes you have to have the Horse but boy this guy has balls of steel.  For all that the likes of Paul Hanagan deserve to be Champion Jockey it would be fantastic if Richard Hughes won it, the man spends hours sweating to keep his weight down, given a few more outside rides he could still challenge for the title, it would be great for Racing if he could give it a real shot.

July 27th

Glorious Goodwood hasn’t quite read the script ‘Cat Junior’ recorded our seventh second of the month all be it bringing in some nice profit on the day.  As they approached the final furlong it looked as if we were going to be the Cat that got the Cream,  beaten a head was hard to take this horse really does deserve a big pot.  After this effort it’s highly unlikely he’ll be 33/1 again in this grade you could say the Cat is out of the bag!

A day to saviour on the jockey front the‘Ice Man’ Richard Hughes is riding out of his skin maybe his days as Stable jockey for Juddmonte were his was much maligned are well behind him, there is little doubt this jockey is at the top of his profession.  What did surprise me when the jockeys were introduced today Jamie Spencer was nowhere to be seen a sad indictment on someone who has been stable jockey at Coolmore.  This forgotten man shows, by his ride on Cat Junior, he’s as good as ever, a mercurial talent let’s hope he’s back in the limelight for the right reasons sooner rather than later.

July 27th

Glorious Goodwood kicks off today, providing the weather holds, with a cracking card which sees Finjaan going for glory again in the Betfair Cup. Here's looking forward to some top class action at Goodwood this week.

July 25th

Two winners early on gave us a good start to a profitable day, if only 'Seeking the Buck' could have of got over, in the end finishing 2nd, things could of been so much better, although the traders amongst our clients would of seen a tidy return.

July 24th

Its been a couple of unlucky days on the account, our well backed selections would of done us proud if we had been trading especially yesterday when 'Florestans Match' traded at 1.01 on Betfair but still only finished 2nd.  Today gave us another odds-on in running with Oil Strike just failing to cross the line first, but we move on and look forward to Glorious Goodwood which is nearly upon us.

July 21st

Whilst the selections may be few at the moment don't think that we are all taking it easy.  Mr.T is always preparing, studying and using his knowledge and this week is no different in preparation for the Glorious Goodwood meeting next week, a 5 day event that will see more than 100,000 people flock through the gates to enjoy the chic, relaxed and incredibly stylish atmosphere.  There are racing highlights every day - including the Sussex Stakes, the Goodwood Cup and the Blue Square Nassau Stakes to name just a few.  Here is to a profitable Goodwood this year.

July 19th

A tad annoying with our each-way double, we knew our fate early on as 'A Little Bit Dusty' never looked comfortable and soon fell out the back of the telly 2 furlongs out, typical that the second half of the double came in but nothing ventured, nothing gained, there is always another day.  Our other selection, Cheveton, was backed well into favorite but could only manage third.  We will be quiet until the weekend and then it will be flat out for Goodwood week.

July 18th

A quiet weekend of the selection front giving everyone time to enjoy the golf at St. Andrews.  South African Louis Oosthuizen held off all challengers to win the Claret Jug by 7 strokes from Lee Westwood, Rory McIiroy in the end finished tied third still without shooting a round in the 70's (if only Friday had gone to plan) and Mr.Woods finished outside the top 20. A new week starts tomorrow and a chance to improve on our tally for this month which is showing a profit of over 12 points.

July 16th

Looks like being a quiet few days for us to allow the weather to settle to hopefully somewhere like normality so Mr.T's selections aren't up in the air with the ever changing ground.  Up at St. Andrews the wind has been the problem today, Rory McIlroy scored 63 (9 under par) yesterday but today it went the other way with a round of 80 (8 over par) which, on a lighter note, still keeps his record going of never scoring a round in the 70s at St. Andrews ;-)

July 15th

Its turning out to be a 'proceed with caution' week thanks to the weather forecasts changing every hour, the only thing we haven't had this week is Snow and I'm sure we will get some of that before the week is out.  Be glad we are not playing golf in this weather, oh that's right, they are at St. Andrews ;-)

The 150th Anniversary Open Championship starts today and not in the best of conditions which doesn't favor well for Tiger obtaining his third St. Andrews Open victory in a row (2000 & 2005) and getting his hands yet again on the coveted Claret Jug, but you never know.

July 13th

Our first selections of the week bring in a slight profit on the day with our two each-way selections both finishing third, unfortunately our third selection couldn't give those extra strides to get past the winning post first, finishing 2nd.  All three selections were well backed before the off so the traders amongst you would of made a good profit.

July 12th

Well the good old British weather is back, changing more times than Howard Webb showed his yellow card in the World Cup Final, amazingly though only one red.

With the ever changing weather it is hard to get the feel of the tracks until the first race has been run so selections have been limited or none at all, but here is hoping for a more stable weather system later in the week.

July 10th

Yesterday proved to be a day for the traders amongst our clients with three out of our four selections trading at odds on in-running but that couldn't be turned into profit on the account with all three unable to give that extra push to get over first.

However today did bring in a winner with, what turned out to be our only selection of the day after Citrus Star was withdrawn, Jaahiz going clear in the final furlong.

Away from the racing, Germany got the consolation of third in the World Cup which just leaves the final tomorrow to finish what has been a disappointing tournament.

July 8th

Back to racing today with three selections put forward, one winner and a third which gave us a slight loss on the account today but could of been a good profit if it hadn't been for the 25p Rule 4 on 'North Cape' and Tyfos had managed to get over. If only but we move on to what looks like being an exciting month to come.

July 7th

The World Cup campaign is coming to an end with the final on Sunday, whilst we at Ultimate Tipster are just getting into stride with our summer campaign and its not going to bad, 18 points profit on top of last months has given our clients a tidy betting bank.

While there has been no selections the last couple of days, Mr.T has still been extremely busy catching up on the tapes of races run and updating his extensive library on the runners and riders.

July 6th

Whilst it is a quiet day for Ultimate Tipster, the World Cup pops up again with the first of the semi-finals being played tonight which if the Dutch win will make it an all European final on Sunday.

July 4th

July is starting to blossom, over 15 points gained on the account today with two selections passing the winning post before all the other contenders in their respective races.  Mr. T is showing the form that proved so fruitful this time last year, I'm sure none of our subscribers are disappointed and long may it continue.

July 3rd

Some surprising results today, not only in the horse racing but in the World Cup with the young guns of Germany thrashing Argentina 4-0, at least England scored a goal ;-)

Back to the horse racing and thanks to a winning performance from Petella in the last at Carlisle, the account broke even, if only Foxy Music could of come in, losing out by a neck.  A frustrating day but we move on to fight another day.

July 2nd

What a day on the sports front, on the world cup the future appears to be ORANGE after the Dutch exploited the flaws in the samba men. Over at SW19 we were treated to yet another master class by Rafa sadly Andy Murray is becoming a nearly man, the brutal truth is he’s just not good enough!

On the account bets early doors it was like being on the dodgems both selections getting knock form pillar to post and not able to reach their best finishing positions which was very frustrating , fortunately Rosie Jessop found a clear passage on the final selection to provide the profit on the day.

July the 2nd also brought some good news on the front of the Racing Post with the fixture list being slashed by 250 meetings, the majority of the punters and educated racing people who keep the show on the road on a daily basis must have thought it was Christmas. Sadly the news wasn’t greeted in the same vein by ENEMY NUMBER ONE (Bookmakers) maybe Racing for change has taken its first step forward.

Last month brought our clients a healthy profit and with the Chancellor pushing up VAT to 20% its coming has a nice tonic and brought some positive vibes back.  As the flat season is reaching its Summer peak we can look forward to ‘The July Meeting’ at Newmarket and ‘Glorious Goodwood ‘ without doubt two of the best fixtures of the year, as the one and only legendary front man of Oasis once said, lets have it!

So World Cup continues today with the Quarter-Finals.  For us July signals the start of a new month and trying to better the performance last month of Mr.T, an amazing month that can't fail to impress those of you reading this blog.

June 2010

June 30th

If only the month had lasted another few days to allow us to break the magical one hundred point barrier Grrrrrrrrrr, it still ranks as highly meritorious in the context of MR.T track record as he has chosen a reduced staking plan with us.  So the reality is it’s his best monthly achievement since he started in March 2009. It is also hugely impressive after the appalling start to his tenure with Ultimate tipster, one thing which defines a quality tipster is his ability to bounce back after a poor monthly performance. We conclude the month of June with figures that read a profit of £8,636 to a £100 level stake, his overall return to clients since he started now reads £43,942 to a £100 level stake in a period of sixteen months. Hats off to Mr.T this month and long may he continue to establish himself among the higher echelon of web based Horse Racing Tipsters.

June 30th

Yesterday saw another maximum bet come in and took us past the 75 points profit mark for the month which now reads £7561 for a £100 Level stake, a tidy profit on the monthly subscription fee. On Mr.T's previous form, July could be just as profitable.

June 29th

England may be out of the game (well the World Cup at least) but we are still in the game with a 10+ points profit yesterday taking our profit for the month back to nearly £7K for the month (to a £100 level Stake).

June 27th

A profit on the week, with the week starting very well if a little disappointing towards the end, but Rome wasn't built in a day and we are still very much in the game, lets just hope England are after their game today with the Germans in South Africa.

June 24th

A cracking day on the account with 6/1 & 7/1 winners to boot bringing in 18 points profit on the day.  Judging on previously results, when Mr.T was at HBI, July could be a bumper month, we certainly have the right man making the selections.  Pattern Mark was the sixteenth winner on the month producing £6,911 to a £100 stake not to bad for a £125 month’s subscription.  The average price of the winners since Mr.T was acquired is running at just over 6/1, with nine maximum bets proving successful this month and two just failing by short margins.  We are delighted with progress the past two calendar months, we will be doing some tweaking to the web-site over the next few days to stop the confusion over the previous results.

It's been great to see many of the subscribers from HBI coming on board this month along with a few newbie’s, we hope to build a long and successful partnership over the coming years.  Any questions or queries you may have then please feel to contact us via our 'Contact Us' page, in the left hand menu, any time.

June 23rd

Quiet on the racing scene but football and the World Cup is a different matter today with it being crunch time for the 3 Lions of England, fingers crossed.

June 22nd

A quiet few days on the selection front after some hectic days last week giving us time to catch up on some well earned sleep, Mr.T needs sleep too :-)

June 20th

After an exhausting week it was a nice treat to see Tropical Treat come home at Ayr and with the place at Ascot with Palace Moon we made a very nice profit on the day and on the week.  After the excitement of Royal Ascot, the coming week will be a slightly quieter one but some value to be had I'm sure.

June 18th

A good day at the races saw Mr.T's 18th & 19th winner since become the tipster at Ultimate Tipster.  It was lovely to see Treadwell take the final race of the day at Ascot and a price of 14/1, that on top of Falkland Flyer's winning show earlier in day when beating the favourite by a neck. Over 15 points gained on the account on the day to get us back on track for the week. Can we take this into the final day of Royal Ascot, watch this space.

June 17th

We were so unlucky with Spacious yesterday in the Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot getting beat by a short head in a photo finish.  Our final selection of the day, Tepmokea, did come in by a neck to soften the heartache with Spacious with us making a slight loss on the account. Still early days yet, Mr.T has a proven track record and a tidy profit is still being made on the month.

June 16th

I will keep this short and sweet, bad day at the office yesterday after Monday's excellent start to the week but we move on and look forward to some wonderful racing still to come at Royal Ascot.

June 14th

Something to relieve those Monday blues, how about 10/1 winner and two other selection trading well below their starting price in-running. 18 points gained on the account today, a good start to the week and now Royal Ascot has arrived.

June 13th

Well our little bubble finally burst with our run of maximum bet winners, the blind fold was taken off too soon from what i saw and then the jockey managed to go for a gap which was always going to shut. The ground conceded at the start and momentum he lost without doubt attributed to his downfall today, but this type of thing happens in sprint races.

On a more positive note all roads now lead to Royal Ascot the pinnacle of the flat season, we haven’t put any ante post bets forward as Mr T felt there are too many variables and in his experience he feels we will be better waiting until the day before recommending anything.  It does look a terrific meeting on paper and there are some mouth-watering clashes to look forward too, may the battle begin.

June 12th

Something for the weekend, how about 22 points profit and our fifth consecutive winning maximum bet on the week being landed. Normal service appears to have been resumed, we still haven’t quite managed to get the balance right, the day could have been colossal if Bobs Dreamflight would have been able to get the gap on the rail our 16/1 recommendation was without doubt unlucky. We are looking forward to Royal Ascot next week and seem to have found a rich vein of form all we need now is for the sun to shine.

June 11th

Another day in which trading in-running would of produced a profit but in the end a slight loss which we would of been a 'broke-even' day if not for the rule 4 on our maximum bet winner of the day.

June 10th

Today was a good day at the office with two maximum bets being landed on the account and the other two recommendations trading lower than the starting price in-running.  Just over 15 points profit on the day a clear sign we are getting back on track.

June 9th

Our selections yesterday saw us with two finishing second, one by a short head, and all three selections trading lower than the starting price in-running meaning a profit if you traded at the right time, so we can't be that far from laying the golden egg.

June 8th

Yesterday saw Mr.T's first NH winner for Ultimate Tipster which was great to see, coming in 17 lengths clear of the nearest rival.  A slight loss on the day but it is still early days.

June 5th

First point of entry must be the awesome performance of Workforce the time suggests that he’s the real deal. Our Derby preview did point clients in the right direction in regards a match bet which was in the bag as they turned in. On our account bets we haven’t a great deal of luck with’ Reggane’ for the second time in the space of four weeks our French jockey has managed to get this filly beat!

4th June

One swallow doesn’t make a summer but the sight of a 16/1 winner sure brings a smile to things.  A good day even with two strong bets just failing one caught last stride and the other given a poor tactical ride ‘nothing new there’  hopefully we are back on track and this is sign of what’s to come. I hope the additional information put a lot of people off the oaks favourite, as well providing profit from numerous other winners.

3rd June

A winning day which saw Caprio saunter home under hands and heels at a very generous 11/8 in truth the horse should have been odds on. We then had a horse break out of the stalls and run off a tad annoying when we had secured a decent price, but that’s life. Finally are second selection failed to produce again some would suggest he wasn’t favoured by racing wide or being held up after being dropped back in trip, while some substantial wagers were recorded on him this evening he continues to frustrate the jury is out for now.

We are moving into a period of high quality flat racing which includes Epsom and Royal Ascot and the opening of the July course at Newmarket, without question one of the busiest times of the year we do expect an increase in stronger bets. Mr T's record from this time last June & July produced over 170 point’s profit, we are hoping for a similar return this season, so watch this space.

2nd June

Yesterday wasn't a great start to the month but it is a long season and we do keep beating the odds which means if you keep talking over the odds you will eventually win as Mr. T has shown in the past, so we move on and look forward to the rest of the week.

May 2010

30th May

It's with ever increasing annoyance that the powers that can be can't find a formula to give accurate going descriptions.  What beggar's belief is that a small amount of rain fall can change a going description which has Firm in it to Soft after one race.

I don't agree with the Ground Description reported from three of the four flat meetings yesterday, the Times suggest otherwise.  This is a long-standing issue over-watering and poor turf management which regularly creates track bias, it's a can of worms in truth, trainers want safe ground yet still complain about track bias when it's over-watered.

Yesterday at Beverley a course renowned for bias over the years which has resulted in many non-runners in low drawn sprinters.  For some unknown reason it has appeared to have changed this year and the stands side has proved much quicker this season, until of course yesterday when the far rail appeared the best place throwing a spanner in the works of anyone trying to figure out the way the race is likely to be run.  It's without question the biggest bug bear in the game and the hardest thing to accurately define.

Maybe it's time to stop interfering with nature and stop watering tracks two days before a meeting, if it's too fast trainers and connections can run their horses on All Weather surfaces and maybe more meetings should be put on as an alternative so trainers have a wider choice where to run if they are concerned about the ground.  It's worth bearing in mind some animals relish fast ground, it would give them an equal opportunity of paying their keep, of course this would open further issues, it would dilute the field sizes and make it less competitive, I am not sure what the answer is but it needs addressing!

A bad day at the office but it's early days, it's a long season, Rome wasn't built in a day.

28th May

A decent winning day thanks to George Adamson who prevailed at odds of 7/1, sadly after attracting strong support Magical Spirit couldn't produce much whilst Ramamara performed with credit just failing by a neck after looking home and hosed and trading at 1.18 in running (Grrrrr)

27th May

Whilst we continue to beat the odds and get the value, we can't seem to find the winners enclosure, the old saying 'you cant eat value' is the main issue right now.  If you are trading the selections then you are making plenty but we are in the business of producing winners, something we are aiming to address sooner rather than later.

26th May

Another disappointing day yet again, we secured the best prices on both selections but the 2 year old panicked in the stalls and lost several lengths and was never on an even keel, so that was that.  To add salt to the wounds Micky Fenton must of thought he was auditioning for the charge of the Light Brigade on Celtic Sultan and did well to hang on for second at the speed it went off at.

25th May

We put two selections forward today, both well supported, from 14/1 into 7/1 and 16/1 into 8/1, so we took the value.  The slow start, change in the ground put pay to Steel Trade and Burnbrake just didn't fire.

24th May

Not a good start to the week which was hard to take, especially when a 7/1 selection was sent off 7/2 but no excuses and we move on.

23rd May

The first week of the month saw a decent start which should have set the tone of things to come, however a few inauspicious rides have cost us dear the last couple of weeks which has resulted in a dip in the point’s total.  It should be noted that 12 out of the 37 recommendations (not including our 5 winners) have traded at odds on which is always disappointing when they don’t managed to secure the victory.   It is early days and we do fully expect a big improvement over the next four weeks, we have a man with a proven track record but he is only human and losing runs can and do occur.

4th May

Mr.T joined Ultimate Tipster on 4th May 2010 and became the sole tipster.

Ultimate Tipster did trade prior to his arrival and those results can be seen below.

November 2009 +25.50
December 2009 +1.05
January 2010 +2.31
February 2010 -10.40
March 2010 -6.68
April 2010 -32.25

Ultimate Tipster's Total Prior to Mr.T -20.47

April 2010

Over the last month Ultimate Tipster has been in the process of making some major changes. We can now confirm that as of 29th April 2010, Ultimate Tipster was taken over by Clinton McConnell, an entrepreneur from Worcestershire. During the takeover Clint became aware of a top tipster becoming available and after lengthy discussions was able to obtain his services.
